ASTA Comments to Spices Board of India on EtO Use on Spices
ASTA provided comments to the Spices Board of India in May 2024 highlighting the regulatory acceptance of EtO as a fumigant in the U.S., as well as the importance of EtO as a food safety tool. The comments note that both the U.S. FDA and U.S. EPA have determined that residues of EtO in spices are safe for consumption.
