Arbitration and Contracts

The ASTA Arbitration Program provides arbitration for disputes that arise in transactions using an ASTA contract. The Arbitration Program has been an ASTA member benefit for over 100 years.

ASTA Arbitration

To participate in the ASTA Arbitration Program, at least one party involved in the dispute must be a member in good standing of the American Spice Trade Association. The arbitration process is administered by the International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). For more details, visit the ASTA Arbitration page.

ASTA Contracts

ASTA has developed sample contracts for use by any ASTA member in the buying or selling of spices. The use of any ASTA contract, as well as the ASTA name and/or logo, is an exclusive member benefit. Learn more about ASTA Contracts and download sample contracts at the ASTA Contracts page.
