ASTA Letter to EPA on EtO Decision With Respect to Mexican Oregano and Sassafras
On January 16, 2025, ASTA submitted a letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requesting clarification on the classification of Mexican Oregano (Lippia graveolens) and sassafras with respect to the Agency's Interim Registration Review Decision for ethylene oxide. In its letter, ASTA requested that the Agency consider the inclusion of these commodities under the classification of "dried vegetables."
