ASTA Comments to Strengthening Organic Enforcement Proposed Rule
ASTA issued comments to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in October 2020 on the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service National Organic Program Proposed Rule on Strengthening Organic Enforcement. ASTA Comments on USDA National Organic Program, Sunset Review

ASTA Comments on NOSB Recommendations for Residue Testing

The comments advocate for establishing a practical pathway to address compliance issues related to trace pesticide residues in organic commodities where no established tolerances exist. ASTA also requested a comparable approach for certain heat-formed or process-formed compounds
