EU Countries, Japan, and Australia Issue Alerts for Contaminants in Various Spices
Several European countries, Japan, and Australia issued alerts for contaminants in thyme, basil, nutmeg, chili, sesame, and other spice commodities due to a variety of issues, including pesticide levels, undeclared soy, undeclared gluten, Salmonella, and other contaminants and unauthorized substances.
