ASTA Finance Policy, D-05: Dues Invoicing
This is ASTA's policy document regarding dues invoicing. ASTA will invoice all members at the beginning of the fiscal year (July 1) to ensure that ASTA receives adequate funds to manage the association and its programs, that dues assessments are based on the most accurate information possible to ensure they are fair and equitable, and to ensure that payments are made in a timely fashion.

Consistent with Article IV of the By-Laws, it is the goal of ASTA to have a Board of Directors that represents the diversity of ASTA’s members and that has among its members the appropriate expertise (such as financial, technical, regulatory/legal, and trade) to successfully govern the association to assure that ASTA has a Board of Directors representative of its membership to further the successful governance of the association, and a procedure for electing Directors that encourages continuity and stability.
