This is ASTA's policy document regarding membership applications. An application for membership shall be thoroughly reviewed by the Executive Director and Board of Directors prior to the acceptance of the application to ensure that membership applications are complete and appropriate for action.

ASTA Committees Policy, C-03: Chapters
This is ASTA's policy document regarding chapters. Consistent with Article VIII, Section 2 of the Bylaws, the Board may approve the formation of regional chapters as general activity committees for the purpose of coordinating and aiding in the general objectives of the Association to provide appropriate oversight to ensure the Chapters further ASTA’s mission and that chapter activities do not pose any financial risk to ASTA.
ASTA Finance Policy, D-05: Dues Invoicing
This is ASTA's policy document regarding dues invoicing. ASTA will invoice all members at the beginning of the fiscal year (July 1) to ensure that ASTA receives adequate funds to manage the association and its programs, that dues assessments are based on the most accurate information possible to ensure they are fair and equitable, and to ensure that payments are made in a timely fashion.
