20 Years of IFIC Consumer Research: The Journey for Consumer Confidence and Public Trust in Our Food

The presentation by Kris Sollid and Tony Flood with IFIC provided a brief overview of the history of IFIC’s Annual Food & Health Survey and discussed key results and trends that captured a shift in consumer perceptions or attitudes toward nutrition and food safety related issue. Presenters took a deeper dive into consumer response to food safety related issues and shared results on trended data, especially with regards to consumer confidence in the safety of the U.S. food supply as well as public trust in our food systems.
