At the 2025 ASTA Annual Meeting & Exhibits held on April 9th in Savannah, Georgia, Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, Chairwoman, presented a preliminary study on lead (Pb) accumulation in Vietnam’s cassia. The presentation provided an initial assessment of the current status of lead contamination. The study also proposed practical solutions aimed at enhancing production and processing practices, along with directions for future research to mitigate lead contamination risks in Vietnamese cassia.
