Judge: Open protests should be no bar to tariff refunds
Importers that filed administrative protests on International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) tariff shipments before the Supreme Court struck down the tariffs may claim refunds, even if those protests remain unresolved. Court of International Trade Judge Richard Eaton, who presides over all IEEPA refund suits, made the determination.
