This is ASTA's policy document regarding dues assessments, The Board shall recommend to the membership on an annual basis a dues assessment program that will provide funds adequate to support the activities of the association, including the maintenance of an appropriate surplus to assure that ASTA has an equitable dues assessment program for all members.

ASTA Committees Policy, C-03: Chapters
This is ASTA's policy document regarding chapters. Consistent with Article VIII, Section 2 of the Bylaws, the Board may approve the formation of regional chapters as general activity committees for the purpose of coordinating and aiding in the general objectives of the Association to provide appropriate oversight to ensure the Chapters further ASTA’s mission and that chapter activities do not pose any financial risk to ASTA.
