Navigating Supply Chain Emissions in the Spice Industry is Part IV of ASTA's Sustainability 101 Series. In the spring of 2024, ASTA partnered with the Sustainable Spice Initiative (SSI) to offer parts I, II and III of this webinar series on sustainability essentials. Part I addressed how to define sustainability in the spice industry and potential advantages of embracing sustainability, including the impact on financial performance and brand enhancement. Part II explored insights into U.S. and global sustainability considerations and use of sustainability as a risk management tool and regulatory compliance strategy. Finally, Part III offered practical insights into navigating sustainability certifications and industry standards.
